About  /  Credits

The photography on this site comes from Nappy, a stock library built to improve the representation of Black and Brown people in media.

The license

Every photograph here is published by Nappy under the Creative Commons Zero license. That permits commercial use, modification and redistribution with no attribution required. The images have been cropped to a single ratio for this site; nothing else about them has been altered.

Credit is given because the work deserves it, not because the license demands it.

Why this source

This practice teaches facilitation to first-generation professionals and to the organizations that employ them. Stock photography showing only one kind of professional would contradict the work. Nappy exists to close that gap, so it is the right library for this site.

Everything else

The product images in the shop and the course covers are renderings made for this site, not photographs. The mark and wordmark belong to Online Facilitation Skills, the teaching arm of Urban Human Resources.
