Terms of service

Last updated October 22, 2026

1. Who these terms cover

These terms govern your use of onlinefacilitationskills.com and anything purchased through it from Online Facilitation Skills, a brand of Urban Human Resources, an HR consulting practice in Oakland, California. Where you sign a separate agreement or statement of work, that document controls if it conflicts with these terms.

2. Programs and payment

The Virtual Facilitation Certification, Cohort 1 (February 2 to 25, 2027) is open for enrollment. Run the Room Online, Build the Material, Where Sessions Break and The Legal Side of Training run in January 2027 and are open for enrollment. When a program opens, its page will list the price, dates, format and refund terms before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe on its secure checkout; card details are never collected or stored on this site. Private team sessions are priced as listed on the Store, and custom or larger engagements are quoted in writing before work begins. The live harassment prevention sessions are priced for 50 employees (one hour) or 35 supervisors (two hours), and larger groups are quoted by headcount.

3. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds, cancellations and rescheduling are covered by the refund policy, which is part of these terms.

Digital products (ebooks, templates, checklists, prompt packs). Digital products: no refunds once downloaded. A corrupted, incomplete or not-as-described file reported within 14 days of purchase is replaced or refunded in full. Refunds return to your original payment method within ten business days.

4. Scope of advice

Online Facilitation Skills teaches facilitation, training design and related workplace practice. It is not a law firm. Nothing on this site or in a session is legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created. Our founder holds a J.D. but does not represent anyone as counsel through this practice. For advice on your specific facts, talk with an attorney licensed in your state.

We use AI tools to support research and drafting. The judgment, the teaching and the final work are ours.

5. Content and liability

All text and materials on this site are our property and may not be republished without permission. Quoting a short passage with attribution and a link is welcome. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be heard in Alameda County, California. If these terms change, the date above changes with them.
